We've been in the house just about a month. We are nowhere near unpacked, but we have reached the decorating. We re-painted the back bedroom, the one with the best light, a really nice pale blue and we have turned the living room and the former man-cave into a patchwork of possibilities.

This is where you come in, my dear friends.

This is our living room wall.

We are pretty sold on the beige/brown shade (Almond Oil) but we are still deciding on an accent wall.

This is (appropriately enough) Bright Red

This is Bonfire

Choosing a paint without seeing other stuff is hard. A lot impacts including the color of your existing furniture (including casegood pieces), the orientation of the room, how much light the room gets, what you want your room to convey and architectural features like vaulted ceilings, multiple windows, etc. As a whole, I'm not a big fan of accent walls because they tend to break up a room. Your eye naturally stops with an abrupt change.
