Fairly productive weekend over all. I got called in to work at Wild Berry Friday and Saturday, which made for really long days after my shifts at the Center, but it was pretty fun.

Sunday was the triplet's birthday, so we had a family BBQ to celebrate my birthday and theirs. I have a truckload of Best Buy gift certificates now, so I should actually be able to buy a new digital camera! And a new camera means shots of the Subamino if it makes another appearance.

I got my script written for Fairy Tale Theatre, which is good since we only have 4 rehearsals left! I'm pretty proud of it so far. We'll see how it does when the kids actually get a hold of it.

Today is going to be another crazy day - I go right from Fairy Tale to a wine tasting at Wild Berry (There is a local guy who wants us to carry his products) and then back to the Center for Bunnicula auditions.

Yep, I agreed to direct Bunnicula. I may regret this. It's a musical, which I've never done before and the music has yet to arrive. There is a chance it will come in today, but I am not going to hold my breath. I'm also wondering/worried about how the rehearsal schedule will shake out since it's being done in rep with Evita.

Plus, and this is the big one, I don't even have an icon for the show yet!

It is a gorgeous day out there

Asian Culture Night went *amazingly* well considering the disaster that was the rehearsal.

I have a cool new haircut and color that I LOVE.

We went to see Diary of the Dead last night and it was really, really good!

I have every reason to be out celebrating.

Instead I am working on a project for Wild Berry that should have been done last week.

All I want to do is RP

So.

I am selecting movies for Wildberry.

We want to do a big, crazy movie event next month - have food there, maybe move the bar into the theatre, give away prizes, all kind of things.

I have also been told to start preparing for this summer. I've thought about doing "Late Night" (10pm probably, because Anchorage can be lame) horror movies (mostly as an excuse to show Army of Darkness) but another suggestion was made.

Which brings us to....[Poll #1144728]

Oh. I do 3 questions don't I? Let's see....

What is your favorite guilty pleasure movie?

I've kind of been keeping it on the QT, but I've picked up another super-cool part-time job. I'm the assistant to my friend who runs the theatre out at Wild Berry. So far it is a lot of emails and organizing things from home, which is great, but I also work in the theatre some days. I always joked that when I retire I want to go back to working at a movie theatre and sell popcorn and sodas without any real responsibility. Guess what I did during my first shift?

But the best part? During my interview we were chatting about things to program in the theatre and I asked why they didn't show more movies since they have the big screen, projector, great sound system and all. I almost got clubbed like a baby seal. Seems they have been working with a distributer but weren't having any luck. When I came in to sign my paperwork, they dropped a huge notebook of movie titles in my lap and basically said "Here! You asked, you pick them out!"

I get to select the movies we show! How fun is this? Anyone have suggestions for March?
