The Rossi Family

Brian and Saffron continue to do well. He rose to the ranks of General and has no plans to retire in the near future. Saffron retired from being Captain Hero to spend time writing true-crime novels. She was a moderate success but, while researching the paranormal for one of her books, she had a vision of a young girl being abducted near the Magic Beans Coffee shop. On a lark, she called to let one of her old friends from the force know. The officer was sitting in the parking lot and looked up just in time to thwart the crime. Saffron was shocked to discover that she had something of The Gift! She rejoined the force as a police medium.

Corbin and Carmen left for college, taking most of the musical instruments and the hydroponic garden with them. They moved in with their cousins Quentin and Emma. Corbin decided to major in physics in preparation for a career in medicine and he proposed to Carmen during their first vacation home. Carmen set out to major in drama, but she soon found it difficult to balance her social schedule and academics. She was the one who suggested turning their house into a fraternity and she was the one who stole their Greek letters. They will be graduating next semester and already picked out wallpaper for the nursery of their future home.

The Corimer Family

Sorrel Endicott (now Cormier) is still a vampire and an actress. She is also an honest woman now. Count Adam Cormier returned to her life now that their twin girls are old enough to leave for college, he finally agreed to move in with her and proposed,

Sorrel's eldest child (and the one by her college boyfriend, Rodney), Quinten, finally learned to study and improved his grades enough to leave for college. He moved in with his cousins and was instrumental in helping them create the hottest fraternity on campus. He majored in physics, the same as his cousin Corbin, with plans to become a mad scientist. He focused on his studies more than his social life (in contrast to his cousins). Part of his struggle seemed to be that he could not decide if he wanted to date men or women and he could not commit to either, Finally he encountered a Sim that made him overcome his fear of commitment - Roxie Sharpe.

The twins, Cassandra and Josette, are planning to leave for college soon. Neither are very focused on skill building and there are certain to be lean times ahead when the leave the nest. No one is quite sure why they are even thinking of college considering that Cassandra is only interested in going to parties and Josette's life-goal is having 50 dream dates.

The Phillipine Family

Sage Endicott is no longer dead.

While Saffron was researching the paranormal for her book, she encountered ways to resurrect the dead. Not wanting to completely fuck with the laws of nature, she decided to attempt to reanimate one already dead - her sister Sage. Sage returned to the family intact physically, but still suffering from amnesia. Instead of aspiring to be a chef, she is now determined to spend her unlife as the life of the party. Inexplicably, she fell for her former enemy Samuel Phillipine and he for her. The married in a lovely moonlight ceremony and had a baby girl straight off. Sage won the coin toss on what to name her - Juniper. Samuel always dreamed of having a large family, so he immediately adopted a little boy named Alec. Once Alec and Juniper were old enough to start making plans for college, they had another baby, a girl named Ginger.

Sage stoutly refused to turn Samuel into a vampire for most of their marriage. The kids joked it so he could take care of them during the day. Finally, on the day he was going to become an elder, Sage gave her beloved husband the gift of eternal life and youth.

Alec and Juniper endured a childhood of jokes about how Corbin and Carmen grew up as brother and sister and ended up falling in love, but their was no love lost between this pair.

Juniper set her sights on becoming a pediatrician and went to college with a large number of scholarships under her belt. She just pledged the family fraternity house along with her cousin and best friend, Electra, and she hopes to be a full member very soon.

Alec, red dreadlocks and all, is utterly fascinated by the fact that his parents are vampires. He is keenly interested in studying the effects of vampirism on different systems and may skip college to pursue first-hand experiments. He already knows what he is going to ask for as a graduation present - he wants to become a vampire himself.

Ginger, so far, is another little anomaly in the family tree. She appears to be the first of Christopher's brood to have an innate fashion sense. She has color coordinated clothes so far, but we will have to see if the trend continues when she becomes a teenager.

Since the last Sim report, Endicott family founder Christopher Endicott passed away peacefully in his living room. He died just before his son-in-law Adam Graham gave birth to a baby girl. The alien father was not present for the birth either. Adam named his black-eyed, dark-haired, green-skinned daughter Electra. Luckily his wife, Sonnet, fell in love with the baby at first sight and helped him raise little Electra the same as they raised their two children.

Everyone expected that the little green-skinned drama queen would want to be an actress like her aunt Sorrel, but Electra proved to be full of surprises. She instead set her sights on a career in politics. She recently left for college and pledged her family fraternity house. She decided to major in Political Science.

Adam and Sonnet's oldest child, Ethan, met a lovely young lady with hair the color of freshly grated Parmesan and lips as red as the wax around a fine loaf of Wensleydale. And the best part? Tosha loves grilled cheese sandwiches just as much as Ethan! He proposed the same day they graduated from high school and they are the proud parents of a boy named Stilton and a girl named Racelette. Racelette is very special - she is the first in the legacy to have green eyes instead of grey! Stilton has high hopes of becoming a pirate when he grows up.

Emma, Ethan's younger sister, left for college shortly after Ethan and Tosha's wedding. Her early experiences accompanying her mother on jobs and seeing the crime syndicate of Barbecue Hill first hand made a big impression on Emma. She made a promise to herself to help the innocent of her community and help fight crime in all of its incarnations. She moved into a lovely townhouse and founded a fraternity with her cousins Carmen, Corbin and Quinten and majored in Psychology. Emma was an excellent student, but often unlucky in love. She had several boyfriends, but none of them were very good to her. Luckily this changed when she went on a blind date with a fellow student named Jerome Taylor. Jerome and Emma hit it off immediately and were deeply in love even before it was time for their first kiss goodnight. They moved in together as soon as they graduated.

And that was when Jerome made a terrible discovery...

Jerome had a sworn duty of his own; he had also pledged to take down the criminal mastermind of Barbecue Hill....by taking over all of her rackets for himself! Now he discovered that the mastermind was none other than his mother-in-law! WIll he be able to stay with Emma knowing this? Will he continue his plans to take over the city in spite of Emma and her family? Or will he turn his back on his dreams in the face of true love? Will he even go so far as to submit to be re-programed and try to discover a new path to happiness?

You, my dear readers, can help him decide.

In the Graham household...

Sonnet continues to struggle towards her goal of becoming a criminal mastermind. Most of the time she spends at home she is having to focus on building skills for work and that sometimes takes its toll on her family.

Ethan grew up to be a teen at last. He was very skilled but fundamentally uninteresting until he learned how to make grilled cheese sandwiches. This has touched off a new life-obession for him; he must learn the recipe for the best grilled cheese sandwich ever made (and eat 200 of them along the way.)

Emma grew up to be an adorable child who tries to wear her little dragon costume everywhere she goes. Unfortunately the private school she attends just passed a dress code and she is required to trade her wings for a plaid skirt, sweater and knee socks on weekdays. Emma bears a striking resemblance to her aunt Sorrel so far. Let's hope she fares better in love than her auntie.

And Adam. Dear Adam reached his life goal of becoming a business tycoon and was abducted by aliens the same night. He is expecting a little bundle of joy all his own any day now.

Christoper passed away before meeting his newest grand-baby, but his parting was bittersweet and aided by hula girls.

Any thoughts on what to name Adam's kid? I'm thinking of staying in the "E" vein, though Emerald seems a little harsh...

Endicott family matron, Adriana, passed away yesterday. She achieved her life goal of nagging her 3 daughters into college degrees and was welcomed into the afterlife with a pina colada. Overcome with grief, her husband Christoper mouthed off at a press conference and was ejected from the bowlers hall of fame. He still practices daily in the little alley set up behind their home.

Sonnet and Adam Graham welcomed a new baby to the family. Little Emma was born during her grandparent's anniversary party and promptly became the center of attention. Her proud papa jumped straight up in the air and thought about a promotion at work. Apparently this will be a trend in Emma's life. On her transition day from baby to toddler, her mother took her to the cake....and then right off to work with her. (I was thinking she was going to grow up to be a diva-type, but she may end up a tough business woman at this rate.) Emma's big brother Ethan finally traded in his Baby New Year costume for a pair of bearfoot pjs. I'm not certain which is cuter.

Saffron and Brian Rossi (yes, they will still be the Rossi's even if he was forward thinking and took her name) continue to be happily married. Brian's sister, Shenene, came to stay with them for a while with her adopted son, Corbin. Corbin is just the same age as his cousin Carmen and the two have become best friends. Shenene married her boyfriend Timothy Pai in a small, private ceremony held in the backyard. Sadly, Timothy's job required them to relocate but Corbin decided to stay with his aunt, uncle and cousin. Carmen was delighted.

Meanwhile, downtown, Sorrel Endicott (still my favorite) renewed her relationship with the head vampire in town and gave birth to twin girls, Josette and Cassandra. Her roommate, Lucy Miller, doesn't seem to mind who Sorrel is with just so long as Sorrel continues to save her dumb ass from Death every other morning. (Lucy has a bad habit of wanting to climb out of her coffin for a morning constitutional and forgets to climb back in when she gets uncomfortable. We need some chlorine for the Miller gene pool.) Sorrel's son, Quinten, traded in his favorite fuzzy pink pjs for a fabulous little vest that has me singing "YMCA" every time I see him. So far Quinten is a knowledge sim who hates studying, loves one of his sisters, and wants to be a mad scientist if he every graduates from high school.

The 4th Endicott sister, Sage, remains dead.

A Sims update from Barbecue Hill.

Well. Saffron did indeed marry Brian Rossi. But he went and took her name. I am going to ignore that and just think of them as the Rossi family. They have a beautiful baby girl named Carmen.

Sonnet, the eldest of the 4 girls and the only one Christoper had with his Professor Ayanna Jones, fell in love with her Professor, Adam Graham, and dropped out of school to marry him. They have a fine baby boy named Ethan and another on the way.

Sorrel, the eldest of Christoper and his wife, Adriana's children (and my favorite) is still a vampire. She had a boy she named Quinten with her college boyfriend, Simon Shaw, before they stopped speaking to each other. She now lives with her friend Lucy Miller, who is also a vampire, and his getting the urge to have another baby. Perhaps a poll with her baby's daddy options will be coming soon.

And Sage, poor Sage. After she graduated from college and found a nice little house in the downtown area she contracted a serious case of amnesia and was unable to remember any of her friends or family. Her addled-brain led her to a career as a slacker and to fall in love with a former enemy. All seemed as though it could be an interesting new beginning for Sage, until she stayed out on a date well after dawn and died the moment she returned home. No amount of time manipulation could save her. It has yet to be determined if anyone remembers her well enough to raise her from the dead.

So far the next generation of Endicotts looks promising, though Quinten is a little too fond of his fuzzy pink pajamas......
