1. I don't recall when exactly I started using Veggiebelle, but it was a while before LJ - I love Beauty and the Beast (hooray for a bookworm heroine!) and, well, I'm veggie. I think a friend of mine may have originally come up with it. Anyway, I'd used as a handle for a while by the time I got to LJ.

2. I got an invite code from a friend (yep, that long ago) and thought, "Why not?"
