1. Do you prefer candy or popcorn at the movies?

2. What book(s) are you reading currently?

3. Are you now or have you ever been afraid of clowns?

1. Both. Popcorn with Raisinets in it. Though to be honest, I've never had that at the movies, just at home.

2. Um. A bunch. The Annotated Classic Fairy Tales by Maria Tatar. The Book of Lost Books by Stuart Somethingorother. This Day by a bunch of people. A Buffy-related graphic novel. Tales of the Vampires, I think it's called. The Outstretched Shadow by Mercedes Lacky and James Mallory. The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy.

3. Nope. Not crazy about 'em, but not afraid of them. Unless they have big pointy sharp teeth, of course.

1. Popcorn! Candy is only for special occasions....meaning, when someone else doesn't mind blowing their money on uber-expensive junk food at the movies (because I don't have the money to). :D

2. The Host by Stephenie Meyer. Re-reading Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice.

3. I'm not afraid of them, per se, but I think they're really creepy.

How is The Host?? I love Stephenie Meyer's books. I just found out that the movie version of Twilight is being released late this year.

It's great - I love it! Very different from the Twilight novels but good enough to hold me over until Breaking Dawn is released. :) I can't wait for the movie to be released! I'm becoming so obsessed over it that it's infiltrating my dreams. I need to get a grip.

1. Popcorn, because movie popcorn has just that uber perfect popcorn-y flavor you can't get at home.

2. [livejournal.com profile] gao_ai and I are reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone out loud to each other before I move back to Boston.

3. Very scared. When I was six years old, my mom read out loud to me the bit from Stephen King's IT where little Georgie gets his arm ripped off by the clown with the balloons.

(Sorry for the double-post...had some trouble with the html)

1. Both. My favorite is popcorn, sour sticks and junior mints. If I have to pick one, it depends on my mood and what whoever I'm with wants.

2. Several. Mostly The Book Thief, by Marcus Zusak (SO fantastic...), but also Acts of Service by Jonathan Fox, re-reading Realms of the Gods by Tamora Pierce, and [livejournal.com profile] electricpaladin and I just started reading Tales From the Flat Earth by Tanith Lee aloud to each other.

3. Nope. I've never understood the clown fear thing. I guess it helps that along with all the other theatre stuff, I took a couple clown classes as a kid. I tend to feel sorry for clowns for getting stuck with that particular stigma.

1. BOTH. Popcorn with a handful of Rolos...I could so go for that right now.

2. Ack. I started Middlemarch (again) like a month ago, and have already renewed with the library twice. I think I had just better give up.

3. Not really. Though clowns can very easily be creepy in the right/wrong circumstances. Poor clowns.

2) How To Lose An Extratrestrial In 10 Days (seriously)

3) Not normal clowns. Only Scary Clowns (http://tinyurl.com/3f2jt4)

1. Popcorn with gobs of real butter, paramasan cheese and/or brewers yeast

2. The man in the High castle (its one of the few i've finally gotten around to - One of his best imho)

3. No stories my parents have divulged yet...

1. Candy - specifically, junior mints.

2. Fables comics (TBP # 3), "We: Understanding the Psychology of Romantic Love," by Robert Johnson, and some Buffy comics. I want to start another book, but I'm making myself wait.

3. Yeah, they creep me out. No nightmares or anything, but they are not my favorite creatures.
