1. Both. My favorite is popcorn, sour sticks and junior mints. If I have to pick one, it depends on my mood and what whoever I'm with wants.
2. Several. Mostly The Book Thief, by Marcus Zusak (SO fantastic...), but also Acts of Service by Jonathan Fox, re-reading Realms of the Gods by Tamora Pierce, and electricpaladin and I just started reading Tales From the Flat Earth by Tanith Lee aloud to each other.
3. Nope. I've never understood the clown fear thing. I guess it helps that along with all the other theatre stuff, I took a couple clown classes as a kid. I tend to feel sorry for clowns for getting stuck with that particular stigma.
