Date: 2013-11-26 09:02 pm (UTC)My last vacation, short as it was, was a weekend away in Gatlinburg, TN. It's close enough to get to in a few hours, and feels like a million miles from home. We usually go once or twice a year. Next year though, we are taking a "big" vacation - the Outer Banks (NC) for a whole week of lying about on the beach.
Yes and no. I don't find my job fulfilling, but I'm used to it. It occasionally offers me the kind of challenge that I like. Now that I'm "properly medicated", I find it and my coworkers a lot easier to endure. And, y'know, it pays the bills.

Date: 2013-11-27 03:58 pm (UTC)No, but I do have Flippy Floppy, who I've had almost my entire life. He's a stuffed dog. Unfortunately he's also falling apart and I can't decide what to do about that. (There's not enough material left to repair him.)
2. Where did you last vacation?
A staycation. (My mother came to visit.)
3. Do you like your job?
If I have to have a job (and I do), then I'm okay with this one. (Which is about the most positive I've ever been about a job I've held.)
