Glorious, hot exhausting day yesterday. I am so tired I don't know if I;m coming or going this morning. Mark took the day off, wish that I had but we have to go look at staff apartments, then I need to finish the summer schedule once and for all, find monologues for the Theatre Conservatory kids, write letters and supervise a warehouse tidy.

I did win best bodice at the fair though! and userinfokahteeyah was second place.

1. What did you do this weekend?

2. if you could spend tonight anywhere doing anything at all, what would your plans be?

3. How are you today, really?

Fair pictures are up! http://www.davebrownphotos.com/gallery2/v/Events/2007/07RenFaire/2007_06-02_DayOne/11NaughtyBaudyTavern/?g2_page=4 I'm particularly fond of the thumbnail which features me from the tip of my nose down :)

1. Would your mother approve of the way you do your laundry? Why or why not?

2. What did you have for dinner last night?

3. Are you planting a garden this year?

Last night one of my favorite young actors called me in tears. She has to move rather suddenly and wants me to say goodbye to people.

In lighter news, I wear a bite guard when I sleep. On rare occasions I'll spit it out and then accidentally sleep on it. This usually leads to bite-like patterns on my butt or my thigh. Knowing that fair starts tomorrow and I'll be in a bodice attempting to make my cleavage visible to passing satellites, I managed to sleep on the guard so the bite mark is just above my right tit. Yep, once again I'll be the prettiest wench at the fair.

1. How many times did you move as a kid?

2. What was the best thing about last month?

3. What do you hope for this month?

Okay - I'm crazy busy with the fair and work, I'm freaking out over how much has to be done today (but I'm sure I'll calm down when I actually get to work) so today is your day to ask me anything.

It was pretty much a Three Barons' Weekend, but a lot of fun. We had rehearsal or set-up every day. Sunday we grilled dinner and sat out on the porch with Jeremy again and then went to see Pirates 3. I was pretty impressed - I liked it more than I thought I would. Yesterday we were at the site all day setting up tent, painting and grilling. I'm a touch sunburned already.

1. What is your favorite thing to bring to a BBQ? (Corn!!)

2. Since some of you, like my boss, may have been under a rock and not heard - Friday was not only Towel Day but the 30th anniversary of the release of Star Wars. It was Super Geek Day. What was the geekiest thing you did this weekend? (I admit, I went looking for Alan Ayckbourn's theatre on Google Maps)

3. What's for lunch today? (Tuna, I hope, haven't got my butt into the kitchen yet)

Lovely weekend. We had rehearsal for the Crooked Toad outside yesterday. It was in a parking lot, but there was still sun. After that we came home, BBQ'ed and ate out on the porch with Jay. Somehow we ended up with nothing to do so we watched TWO(!!) movies (Stranger Than Fiction, which I liked a lot, and Prarrie Home Companion, which I found troubling in places.)

I'm driving to Girdwood for a school visit today and going to a play reading at Cyrano's tonight. I think we have something going on every night this week!

But now, on to the important things...

1. How did your family pets get their names?
2. Do light bulbs last long enough?
3. My birthday is just under 2 months away, is it too early to start my "I want this" list?

I'm having one of those days where I really want to blog, but I don't have much to say.

I SM'ed what I hope will be my first symphony show last night. I really enjoyed it a lot.

Mark went to the Brrr-lesque show party where they gave out awards. I won the "Burlesque for Good" award which I think translates to "We like you. You good kid." Mark won Best Rookie. His award came with a hat. mine came with stars that glow when you charge them with an itty-bitty black light. My main problem now is deciding if I want to put them on the ceiling in the bedroom or on our picture wall.

We went to Schwag and Rodney's summer kick off party. Mark's been really sick and I've been really sore so we didn't stay long. It was delightfully mellow.

I think I've finally caught all the way up in Heroes. Thanks to the SciFi Marathon, I think the only one I haven't seen is the very first one.

The only thing I have to do today is rehearsal for the Toad Show. My big decision will be whether I should try to find some RP, finish laundry or play WoW in the meantime. Mark has rehearsal for a play reading and I have the house all to myself.

Well, that turned out to be a rather respectable but boring entry. Go me.

1. Did you do anything fun last night?

2. What was your favorite amusement park/fair ride when you were a kid?

3. Do you ask what hot dogs are made of?

We went to the party at the Toad last night. I got there late after swimming with userinfoscooterpbakes but a good time seemed to be had by all. The crowd was pretty small compared to the after parties last weekend. Mid fair is Friday, and that should be a return to the epic. I keep joking that if last Saturday and Sunday nights were any indication, we might have to cancel the fair on Saturday morning, or just sell tickets to see the graveyard.

Lot of work to do, no energy to do it with after 2 muscle relaxers and some chamomile tea last night.

Today at Fair I bought a new bag, a perfect new necklace and tried on a bodice I had no business trying on since I have nowhere to wear it and no reason to own it. Luckily it didn't fit. I have officially spent more money on doodads for Fair than Mark did this year. The sad part is that his anniversary gift might be Fair doodads that I haven't even bought yet.

I'm tired, drunk, sunburned, owe money for an article of clothing I will only wear once a year and obsessed with my own cleavage.

Yep, it's fair.
