Sun, blue sky, wind
3. Do you think it is too early to start planning Christmas?
Yes - but some people have to book accommodation and trsvel before end October, to get cheaper rate

Date: 2011-11-07 08:49 pm (UTC)2. Crisp, roughly 40 degrees at most hours of the day, and dry. Yesterday was perfectly clear and sunny! The fall leaves are beautiful.
3. Nah. I'm doing a handmade Christmas, so I've been planning since about April. (Although, I'll have to think of something less time-consuming next year, as this has been exhausting.)

Date: 2011-11-07 09:11 pm (UTC)2. Overcast and sprinkling - in other words, typical Seattle. :)

3--Nope. I've been planning mine since the summer, but I just haven't bought anything yet...if I remember I plan to start buying later today online. ;-)

Date: 2011-11-08 01:03 am (UTC)Getting cold, with a little bit of rain and blowing snow over the weekend.
It depends on whether you want to or not! I don't think so.

3) I suppose that depends on how extravagant you plan your Christmas holiday to be. I personally like a low key, low stress type of holiday. So that doesn't require too much planning on my part.

Date: 2011-11-08 07:54 am (UTC)2) SO... COLD... *shiver* It's below freezing already!!
3) Planning, no- plans are always well made ahead of time, especially in a tough financial situation... celebrating, YES... OMG, seriously world. Turn OFF the xmas music in stores!! Give us some TIME before you start that! We're all shopping it's true, but subtly- dang.
My friends and I are all comitting to trying to buy handcrafted or handmade products this year- if we cannot buy from who MAKES it, then we are going to make sure we buy locally whenever possible. The economy sucks, but there is no reason to line the pockets of Target and Wal-Mart when we could be buying less and keeping local businesses (and thier families!!) open instead. Want less, and you will GET More Out Of It. :)

Date: 2011-11-08 08:17 am (UTC)Not bad...other than disappointed French Toast at IHOP and spending too much money at the mall.
2. How is the weather where you are?
It snowed tonight...but no of it stuck in teh city. I'm sure the mountains will be all nice and frosty white in the morning though.
3. Do you think it is too early to start planning Christmas?
Eh...what exactly do you mean by planning? Travel or presents...no. But I do think it's too early for decorating, and holiday music and whatnot. That stuff should start the day after Thanksgiving and not a moment before imo.

Date: 2011-11-08 05:36 pm (UTC)2. It snowed a bit the other day - the first snow of the season that seems to be (at least partly) staying on the ground. We usually have piles of snow by Halloween, but it's been unusually warm for this time of year.
3. Yes. I don't think anyone should be allowed to put up Christmas decorations until December 1st. I may be a bit of a Scrooge.
