Many moons ago I asked you, my friends, for help with Sims families. The time has come to ask again.

I have a neighborhood where all of the Sims are inspired by friends. Not that mean-spirited "this is my college roommate living in this trailer with 12 kids" way, but based on their/your interests, jobs etc. For example, I have 2 dear friends who are obsessed with Star Wars. In the neighborhood they are both in the Lars family and one of them has kids named after X-Men and the other has kids named after Simpsons characters. Another dear friend is a lighting designer so his family is named Strand. I have yet ANOTHER dear friend who loves singing and being wenchy - I know what her kids will be named, but can't think of a good surname...

So....

What should I name your family and why? What should the names of your kids be?

Mine should be the Van Pelt family.

And that should be for resons that are obvious to you--please remember my birthday cake of two years ago.

The parents should be Patricia and Sherman, and the daughter should be a little red-haired girl named Dahlia. Dahlia, of course, wants to be a kitty when she grows up.

I'm terrible with naming my Sims... they always get awful puns for names.

Such as my "test" family when I was trying out Sims2.
Surname: Testacasey (test case)
Father: Tar (rat)
Mother: Ginea (guinea pig)
Son: Tarbal (lab rat)
Daughter: NAT (no Animal testing)

that family I made for myself has the surname Bracwell and currently the 2 kids are Sylvia and Maria (Maria is in college and dating Logan Lars)

If so, I want to be a Hogwarts ho! I mean, siriusly. Gee my surname! My top three would be Weasley, Lupin or Malfoy. I guess if I had to choose it would be Malfoy. For kids, whatever. I can't really think of any either except for Draco.

ARGH! The Sims are *such* an addiction.

I finally managed to kick the habit, but then they released Sims 2 for Mac. I'm so glad I'm broke and can't afford to buy it...yet.
