I've heard it's actually a lot better than the John Wayne movie, that it's much more based off the book, instead of the other which was very different. I'm not into westerns at all, but I've heard very good things about it :)

I need to see as well. If not least of which because they filmed it where I lived. And cause I love Matt Damon, even when he looked nastified (which he totally does in this...facial hair does NOT suite that man at ALL!)
