It's something to do with tiers. I think they take into account physical
distance, mutual friends and who else has maps...

Hmmm... I have a map. It's true you and I don't have many mutual friends, though... And I can see the physical distance, because it seems that *usually* people end up falling into place in that way, though I've seen instances where relative location didn't align with map placement... Like I said, I've never really understood the significance of this whole thing. It seems to make sense to the people who created it, but even trying to read their FAQ left me scratching my head...
