1. I spent the morning teaching and am spending the afternoon writing progress reports, the bane of my existence. No real plans for the evening though perhaps a nap factors in.

2. I used to throw lots of cocktail parties when I lived in NYC and LOndon but haven't in years.

1. Nursing a hangover from the concert (Combichrist) I went to last night and preparing to go to another concert (Ghostland Observatory) tonight.

2. Not a fancy one. My parties usually involve beer and playing dress up.

1. My day was spent, it being nearly midnight now, dealing with the police over some abuse and harassment I received last night from a drunken soccer fan. A quick trip to the shops for bread, soy milk (I'm lactose intolerant), potatoes, and bananas. then when to the gym. At the gym got pushed into doing a fair amount by the trainer, and surprised myself by knocking a minute of my time for a mile, compared to the last session. It's still poor compared to what I was running two years ago, but I'm starting from nothing again. So 11 minutes for only the second mile run in 2 years isn't bad. Also did a full circuit of the resistance machines. Fairly light settings though otherwise my physio will kill me, she'll probably kill me anyway. The gym session was followed by 45 minutes of aquarobics in the swimming pool - think aerobics in water. Lastly I swam a leisurely 800m. Tat was the first full workout for 2 years. Tomorrow I'll likely be unable to move.

3. Wrapping paper. It's more of a personal touch IMO.

1. Hanging out with Von, cooking, baking, getting over a cold, knitting, and drinking tea.

2. Nope...a B-Movie party, is that anything close? ;)

3. Some of both...wrapping paper is more fun to tear into on Christmas morning and on birthdays but gift bags/tissue are more convenient for taking to friends' houses, etc. :)

1. How are you spending your day?
I got off work at 7am, went home and went to bed. Then I got up later than I meant too took a quick show and then hopped off to Swing Dance class and the Practice Party afterwards. Had a chat with my male bestie and now here I am at work for another 6 and a half hours...oh joy of all joys.

2. Have you ever hosted a cocktail party?
...eh not per say. I should though. I might this year for the holidays since all my friends are finally of legal drinking age.

3. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper all the way. There is nothing more satisfying than ripping that paper to shreds getting it off the pressie!
