In spite of doing nothing but a few computer-related chores and writing cards last night (Want one? Message me with your address!) I'm all tuckered out. We have rehearsal for the Brr-lesque tonight, I hope that makes it sink in that we have a show tomorrow because I'm feeling woefully unprepared and not worried about it.

Anyway - I'm not thinking well, so you guys ask me questions today, m'kay?

You're in a Burlesque show? How cool is it?

It's very cool and I love it, eventhough it leads to 3-4 evenings a year of me tearing through the house bellowing things like "I have 2 feet, which means there is another gold heel somewhere in this house!!!"

2) Why is burlesque still so popular today, compared to the vast array and amount of digital media and entertainment?

1. Sadly, no, but I am hopeful the video of the Halloween show with The Dirty Little Comics Meet the Mummy will be posted one day.

2. I think it is the appeal of the live show, plus it is a very female-positive style. With a Wink and a Smile is a very good documentary about the renewed interest in it which focuses on Seattle performers.

3. I like opening the stockings on Christmas Morning.
