I had my final training shift for the big stage last night. I (mostly) called the shots and several of the ushers came up to tell me how well I'd done afterward. Tonight is my one day off this week and we are planning to go see the show.

1. Oh gods... uhm... West Side Story.

2. Pets no longer with the family: Spotty the dog because... well... he was spotted. Hunder the cat because my brother couldn't say Thunder. Ashes the cat because when we got her as a kitten she liked to play in the ashes in the fireplace. Reggie the boa constrictor named after "That's just m' pet snake Reggie!" from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

3. A really good Atlas and globe set.

2. Snow White got her name because she was ... a white American Eskimo. :D

3. Hmm. I don't have much on my wishlist right now, amazingly (probably because I just started buying stuff off of it for myself ... lol). But man, I would love a Nikon D60 (or D80, for that matter).

I love that the original name for the movie was A Bride for Seven Brothers. Censors back then weren't so amused.

1) A Funny Thing Happened On the Way To the Forum

2) Our old parakeet, Millie was originally named Milo after the cat in that pet-epic-movie Milo and Otis. Then she turned out to be a lady, and the name was changed to Millie. I still don't know why we named a budgie after a cat, though.

3) I want All-Clad cookware SO...BAD.

1) Uh... I don't have a "Favorite".. as I'm not into 'musicals'. Y'know.. that whole being -straight- male, and not metro/bi/homo-sexual. I saw Cats once when i was a teenager. . . how's that?

2) ... all pets are cats... nani got hers 'cause my mom has an obsession with Hawaii.
Gwenivere got her name.. no one remembers. we call her "Gwen" 'cause we're lazy like that...
Chloe got her name.. I have no idea. My mom was probably high.

Munkee (my cat) got his name because he acts like a friggin' monkey when he's playing. But actually he's pretty acrobatic when he wants to be... 'specially back when he was a kitten (nine years ago)

3) I want new batteries (yes, plural) for my laptop. and a wifi card. that's it. just mobile entertainment... OR.. really.. I just need the batteries so I can watch TDK on my laptop whenever I'm on the road..

1. Favorite Musical...West Side Story. I know, that's not modern or cool or anything, but that's the one I like the most. A close second is Into the Woods.

2. Pets...Chili was covered in fleas when we got him but we cleaned him up and were driving home and talking about how gross all the fleas were and a Red Hot Chili Pepper's song came on the radio. I laughed and said "Hey the lead singer is named Flea you know." Well we couldn't bring ourselves to name the cat Flea so we named him Chili. Queen Pufidala was named by my niece and nephew who helped pick her out and said a kitty for aunt Sue should have a Star Wars name. She is generally referred to as Puffy.

3. What item? A job as an editor or to get my book published.
