3)I was taking AP european history and I was almost constantly late for class, I would walk by the door of my classroom and toss my book bag onto my desk. It would hit the desk, slide off and drop onto the floor. At that moment I was considered in the class, even though I showed up a minute or so later(after visiting my locker).
1) Watermelon. A slice came with my spinach and feta omelette this morning!
2) Well, we have 3. One is a comfy warm brown. One is an old victorian looking blue pattern, and one is a funky collage of blues reds and blacks.
3) A good memory from college: My roommate was the projection manager at Showcase Cinemas. Part of his job was to screen each new movie that came in for defects in the print. SO for several years we got to see every movie that came out for free, usually in a theatre with only a handful of friends, and all the popcorn we could eat. (And every now and then, there WOULD be something wrong with the print, like a scratch down the middle of a reel or something, but my favorite was when one reel in the middle of a Bruce Willis movie turned out to be the Spanish dubbed print... suddenly everyone's voices changed, and they were speaking Spanish.)
That is awesome! Things like that never happened when I worked at the movie theatre, but there were stories about after-hours screenings where they would do things like count the number of phallic objects in Pinocchio.
1. Nectarine. 2. It's a really ugly floral pattern, but covered by a tasteful chocolate-brown slipcover. 3. In 4th grade I did a book report project on a Nancy Drew book or something, and made a very elaborate scavenger hunt for my whole class, and they all totally loved it and I was a big heroine for the day.
3. Hanging out in the school store at the for the last one or two periods of the day during senior year of high school. My friends and I would just sit around, eat candy, drink soda, and laugh our asses off!
1. I just ate a bunch of raspberries. I'm loving my new apartment being right down the street from a whole bunch of fresh produce.
2. Dark reddish brown. Not really my taste, but it's a nice couch, and we got it for free.
3. From grad school: right after our self-revelatory performances, nearly the whole cohort went to an empty classroom at school, where we got Thai food delivered, and played Two Truths and a Lie.
3. When I wrote an "free theme" essay in about 15 minutes, without going trhough all the "1 sentence, 1 line" agony for the first time. I felt so proud!
