Definitely. There is no way I'd let a true friend go through life being ridiculed for something so easily changed if someone would just bring it to their attention...nicely.

Not me -- some people smell bad because they're sick or on medication, and the last thing they'd need in a situation like that would be for well-meaning people to 'helpfully' point out their deficiency. (This is something that has been on my mind ever since I read about this woman who was dying from cancer, and who kept getting chirpy comments from others about how marvellously thin she was...)
