The month of my birth has finally arrived. Party plans will be forthcoming. The paid part of my journal is one year old today (I love you, userinfosionainn!) Mark and I got our anniversary gift from my parents. Mom insisted I open it right away and I love it! Hopefully it will be ready for display for my party. What is it? Wait and see, Alaskans.

I thought I was going to be able to take Sunday and Monday away from work. My to-do list is pretty short, nothing that can't be accomplished in one day so I left feeling pretty good last night. This morning I remembered that I effectively don't have today to work because we have a meeting with the new staff and the will spend the rest of the day in a Red Cross review. I'm so disappointed. I'm also not feeling all that great physically.

And speaking of disappointed, sound levels for the show continue to be a thorn in my butt, but we're not going to talk about that. I also managed to pull off the broken part of my toenail so I have an ugly swath of exposed cuticle hanging out there.

But League of Gentlemen came by Netflix and we watched an episode last night. I love that show!

Mark is having a BBQ for his coworkers tonight so I should clean up a bit before heading to my meeting.

1. Any ideas for cool cheap/free prizes for ticket sales incentives for the kids?

2. Do you like walking in the rain?

3. If you could go back to school, would you? Why or why not?

I refer to League of Gentlemen as "League of Crap" - the propaganda spouted before its release raised my levels of expectations to heights previously never seen before. Then these hopes were dashed to pieces...

1. Get the winner a lap dance - its only 20 bucks
2. As long as I'm not getting hit by, or thinking that I'm going to be hit by lighting - Yes
3. I would (and I am, next month)

Really? I was really impressed at how funny and creepy that series is. I can't wait to see what season 3 will hold.

"We're local people! There's nothing for you here!"

League of Gentlemen. Really twisted comedy.

Newman, the ATY do not need lap dances. Isyoucrazy? Although...Schwag did used to work at the Bush Company and could probably work some kind of deal.

1. I'd say go treasure hunting at Value Village, then make surprise prizes...nobody knows what they are until they win. And hopefully you find stuff that's actually cool. Either that or, um, Newman's suggestion.

2. And pina coladas too.

3. YES! I'm HERE! WAHOOO!

Everybody likes a good lapdance - even the straight ladies.

2. Only when its 90 degrees and humid as heck.
3. Yes. Because I'm in a dead end job.

Okay, the Diet Coke suggestion is so cool we are building our entire prize structure around it. No bull. Update on that soon.
