Mark and I went to see Kill Bill Vol. 2 (home of the world's largest gaffer credit) with Levi, Amy,
scooterpbakes and
kahteeyah. I really liked it, but at the same time I was kind of disapointed. One of the things I loved about the first movie (and most other Tarantino movies) is how innovate his style is - the way it moved from animation to black and white etc. The way Tarantino tells a story becomes almost a character. Vol. 2 was a great story, but it was told in such a straight-forward way that Tarantino seemed to be missing. It rather reminded me of Jackie Brown in that way.
When we got home we finished watching Tokyo Godfathers, which was also great.
Too tired to say much more tonight.
