It looks like the first official snowfall is here! Today will be my first drive in the snow.

Sunday we went out for sushi with monkofsilence and poisondartfrog. there was a menu on the wall for a new Korean restaurant which featured a dish including "Sliced rice ovilates." I nearly stopped breathing.

Museum/Theatre Joy

It's time for another episode of "Things that Only Happen in My Office."

As many of you will recall, we share a building with the Natural History Museum, which means there is a plethora of stuffed animals around the place. I was downstairs, standing next to a musk ox, waiting to give a fax to one of museum people.

ghost_light: Um...why is the ox braided?

Liz (walking over to discover a small braid on the hindquarters of the ox): Oh that's just not nice! (harumphing, undoing the braid) Nobody wants to have their butt braided!
