It looks like the first official snowfall is here! Today will be my first drive in the snow.

1. How did your first drive in the snow go?

Sunday we went out for sushi with userinfomonkofsilence and userinfopoisondartfrog. there was a menu on the wall for a new Korean restaurant which featured a dish including "Sliced rice ovilates." I nearly stopped breathing.

2. What is the funniest thing you have seen lately?

3. What day of the week do you like most and why?

1. It went ok. I only saw one vehicle slid off the road.

2. Not much is coming to mind, other than my friends Golden Retriver trying to curl up in a dogbed sized for a poodle.

3. Friday usually, but lately its been Wednesday both because its Hump Day, and because I pick up my godkids from TKD and get to spend some time with them and see how they're doing.

1. It was to the hospital, which I &@$#% hate (hospitals make me nauseous) but the drive was ok. Everyone was being good and going nice and slow. i'm sure that will pass.

2. Image
(Ok maybe that is not so much funny as really, really disturbing, but I hope you at least cringed a little.)

3. I have an odd fondness for Sundays.

1. My first memorable drive in the snow was attempting to drive a '79 Ford Fiesta (think sub-compact hatchback POS) in a blizzard. Since this was Virginia Beach, we only had 1' of snow -- when the wind wasn't blowing it around like rampaging mini-tornadoes. My other memorable snow driving experience was attempting to do my first donuts in my CR-V -- traction control and ABS make donuts Very Hard to do. :)

2. My daughter bouncing in her doorway jumper. She gets this HUGE grin and bounds about like a deranged cricket. It's hung as high as possible, and she sometimes jumps so vigorously her bottom hits the floor!

3. The pleasantly warm ones, because then I can go outside without bundling up. ;)

3. Thursday, my husband comes home on thursdays.
