A Christmas Story opened yesterday. We had really great crowds for both shows. They were supposed to tape today's school show and I am so glad they didn't. We have 5 or 6 fake trees on the set and a number of them move for scene changes. I am starting to name them. Based on my experiences with the trees we have Tipper and Tripper so far. I'm considering calling the one that was moved into me Mugger. I'm taking other suggestions.

In really, really great news, ATY was selected for the Mayor's Charity Ball next year!

Tom Anderson, the legislator who was just picked up by the feds for extortion, money laundering, etc., is(was?) a board member (along with my husband) for the above mentioned theatre company...

A theatre group around here is doing A Christmas Story, too. How is the adaption? I want to take my dad to see it.

It's an amazing adaption. It is true to the movie and still takes some of the jokes ("The Bunpus hounds ignored every human being on Earth except the Old Man") and flesh them out (Old man: "So, how did you get past the dogs out there?" Fragile Box Delivery GuY "Uh, what dogs?"
