H. Ross Parrot appeared in the Spring of 1993 amid mild fanfare in the media and big hype on the Muppet Forum I was a part of at the time. My roommate and I both took the afternoon off (it was college) and watched the full episode. It was like they knew that was what old school fans all over the country were doing. It was an episode heavy with nostalgia - they showed Rubber Duckie and Monsterpiece Theatre leading into the new skit.
