Our House Gets Stranger All the Time

So.

 

For new readers,

 

LonelyDumptruck and I bought our first house back in June.  Two of the four bedrooms and the living room have a fairly fugly gold carpet with a pattern our friend Rodney promptly proclaimed looked like a close up of a petrie dish.

 

Costco had flooring on sale last month so last night, while I was at The Tech Rehearsal That Wasn't,

 

LonelyDumptruck and CrownWench pulled up the carpet in the bedrooms.

This linoleum, which they dubbed Shop Class Gray, was under the carpet in the once and future man-cave.

This beauty was in the purple room. 

 

I love our weird house!
