If a dry-clean only sweater (one that says to request low-moisture treatments) has gone through the washer, what is the best way to dry it? I have it spread on a towel in the tub right now....

Do you have a rack? Allowing air to circulate underneath it at the same time might help it dry more evenly and/or quicker, reducing the possibility of water damage. Or hanging it somewhere, if you can do it in such a way that the fabric won't be stretched.

I would also try ringing it out by laying it flat on a dry towel, the roll the whole thing up, towel and all, then gently twisting entire thing. This will get out some of the excess moisture. They, use a rack or hang it up if it won't get all stretched out...

Pointing a fan toward it after you've taken [livejournal.com profile] kahteeyah's and [livejournal.com profile] littlebluedog's advice might help, too. It'll move the air around the sweater and will help it dry faster without using heat.
