Summer Kicks Ass

It's been a gorgeous week weather-wise. Monday we had our first outdoor Toad rehearsal, in a vacant lot across from Lise's studio. She brought along her band-new puppy, Jolly Jack, and he got so tuckered out chasing Diet Coke cans, wrestling with roots and attacking his leash that he fell asleep halfway through.

Last night we walked down to the Roadhouse and had beers with scooterpbakes on their little patio. He has only seen half an episode of Caprica so I invited him over tonight.

Today is nicer still. lonelydumptruck and I made a grocery run at lunch. He found a viable piri-piri chicken and I found another roasted corn salad recipe to try
