Riddle me this, BPAL...
Who on god's green earth can take a fairly straight forward scent like, say, the unpronounceable
Baobhan Sith:
The ghostly White Women of the Scottish highlands. They seduce unwary travelers by night with their unearthly beauty and mesmerizing dancing. They engage their victims in a wild, hypnotic dance, and once they reach exhaustion, the demonesses exsanguinate their partners with their vampiric kiss. Talk about a quick courtship. Grapefruit, white tea, apple blossom and ginger.
In the imp one can clearly smell grapefruit and a kind of floral/tea aroma. It is light, pleasant, with a real kick behind it.
Then put it on and get.....lilac! And not fake perfume lilac, but the actual smell of being a little girl and going outside the play under huge purple cones of blossoms. I can only guess that it must be the grapefruit that evokes the sharp tang of fresh greenery.
*raises hand* That's me. I'm her. Lilac. From grapefruit, tea, ginger and apple blossoms.
This, this can only be described fully as being my new Happy Place scent. I am just in love with it, though utterly perplexed.
