My dog is a better mouser than either of my cats. Probably because she believes in the "pounce first, ask questions later" methodology whereas my cats seem to ascribe to the "heeeeeere mousie mousie... c'mere mousie! hold still so I can stalk you and waggle my butt until I find the perfect moment to.... dammit quit running away!" school of thought.
Anyways, I'll rent you my dog... she works for peanut butter doggie treats and ear scritches.
aaack! We had a baby mouse in our place last fall. Luckily the week that we spotted it we were packing up to move. It would scare the crap out of me every time we saw it tho. Screamed like a scream queen from a bad b horror movie. LOL
It's not the mouse freaking necessarily - it's something small and running very very quickly and I just catch the movement out of the corner of my eye....
