3. Nope. I was on the steering committee and I helped to plan it, but the actual proms/dances just weren't my thing.

Date: 2011-10-17 08:31 pm (UTC)The meatloaf turned out nice, listening to the end of TickTock by Dean Koontz, keeping the dirty dishes at bay, a trip to a used book store, seeing my college student daughter, finding out Brandon may be getting a stretch mark. This is a very good thing in terms of which diagnosis may fit.

Date: 2011-10-17 09:20 pm (UTC)2. I'm not sure ... being born in the mid-80's means I don't really know much about what was on in the 80's lol
3. We don't have them here in Australia, I guess our equivalent is the formal, but I didn't go because I left school a few years before then.

Date: 2011-10-18 04:25 am (UTC)2) My mind is drawing a blank...I was a child of the 90's mostly.

Date: 2011-10-18 05:37 am (UTC)Getting to subtly flirt with my dance teacher, even though he's so VERY taken.
2. What is your favorite 80's movie?
Oooo...I'm kinda a bug sucker The Breakfast Club if were talking quintessential 80's movie. But Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is probably the over winner for movies released in teh 80's.
3. Did you go to your prom?
Yup. I went to Prom Junior year *the year we planned it and put it on for the seniors* and Senior year. I almost went my freshman year as my friend's date, but my parents wouldn't let me go because I wasn't 16 *glares at parents and thier stupid old-fashioned rules*

Date: 2011-10-18 01:48 pm (UTC)2) I guess that'd be "The Lost Boys" not because it was good but because it definately made it's mark on the 90's versions of Vampires. But as for GOOD movies, that'd have to be Raiders of the Lost Ark, hands down... it was new, and exciting, and it had staying power. Good stuff.
3) Nope, I was already 'graduated' (equivelancy) and in College. I wouldn't have wanted to if I hadn't been. :P
