Facebook Fail

I think it is a sign that FaceBook keeps deleting all the comments I make to linking to the Snopes.com page that debunks the whole "OMG!!! FaceBook is going to CHARGE!!!!" nonsense.

They won't. Doing so would be really destructive to their bottom line, and besides, they make money (and a lot of it) in a totally different way. They're not going to threaten that revenue stream.

That's odd. I have posted numerous debunking links on my own page as well as on the pages of all of my friends who post the story, and the Hoax-Slayer Facebook page posts the debunking links every few minutes, every time someone posts the "OMG IT WAS ON THE NEWS FACEBOOK IS CHARGING $9.99 FOR GOLD MEMBERSHIP!!!!" story. None of them have been deleted.

LOL the first I read of this conspiracy was that the charge was to take a video of yourself standing on the kitchen table, stark naked, singing "I Will Survive", and then you had to post that to your Facebook page. (Because someone Read It On The Net Therefore It's True!!1!) I was amused (as the OP intended)! :D
