I'm going to use my husband to answer these questions as he is the HUGE Star Wars geek in our family.
1. Dan was a baby, he doesn't know exactly how old (we were born in 1980)
2. Jedi
3. Yes, he does, it's crowding out our closets because he has to keep it away from the kids. He even an original poster and one from Episode 1, and 2 original Yoda toys. And much, much more, lol.
1. Ummm...15 or so. 2. Jedi all the way. 3. Not really, though I still think it would be awesome to have Yoda head earrings. I really need to look into that.
2. Jedi, but a bad-assed one, not one to go "by the book"
3. Not really, but this next thing I am going to give you a link to is one of my prized possessions. It's a Star Wars Pez Dispenser kit. I begged my hubby to get it for me at a store we were at, once. But money was tight so the answer was no. That Christmas, I opened this up to my hearts delight:
1--I don't remember, I've tried my best to block that memory out. ;-) 2--How about neither? ;-) 3--Let's see if anyone can figure this one out by my answers to the other two questions...um...no. ;-)
1. I can't remember how old I was when I actually saw the first one, but my mom was pregnant with me when it first came out and my parents saw it in the theater. Mom told me at the loud parts and explosions I would start kicking and moving around like crazy. :P
2. Jedi of course!
3. When I was little my parents got me a bunch of the toys, clothes (loved wearing my Princess Leia shirt) and I still occasionally get things. I haven't in awhile though. I still have some of my figures that made it here in the move.
1. It was four or five years ago, so I was 22 or 23. I know I was halfway through college when my friend found out that I had never seen them and made me sit through all of the originals in one sitting. It's the only time that I have seen them.
2. Neither, I was really kind of underwhelmed when I saw them. I think they may be one of those things that you had to see when it was new or when you were young.
1. How old were you when you saw the first Star Wars movie? I'm 99% sure I was under the age of 5. I distinctly remember watching it after we'd moved to new mexico, which we did a couple months before I turned 5, but I'm almost certain I knew what it was before then. *We STILL have the original VHS that are at least 25 years old and they STILL work!*
2. Jedi or Sith? SITH!!! *because no one else has said it* Actually can I be a smuggler and hang with Han and Chewie???
3. Did/do you collect any Star Wars merch? Yup! I've got about half a dozen t-shirts, a couple action figures, the LPs to A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back, a folder full of magazine articles and a Lego X-Wing and AT-AT.
2) More the Jedi sort. Unless I get a Sexy Sith Lord Master. Then I might be inclined to study that path... O:)
3) When it first came out, I was 'in' the crowd- my brother had gone to college with Lucas, so I had a buncha first run posters and pre-movie merch, including the first ever set of figures they released- it was neat! They're all long gone now, either given to 'true' collectors, orplayed with unto thier destruction. ;)

I've still never opened it up. It's still wrapped in the cellophane it came in and will be, hopefully, for a LONG time to come!

Date: 2011-05-05 12:25 am (UTC)2) It doesn't matter. The Force does not belong to Light or Dark. Only the choices of the user.
3) YES! I used to have bunches as a kid.... Although, as an adult, it's all gone, and i really miss my Darth Maul lightsaber.
