Stage managing Time Immemorial is really reminding me how much I love, love, LOVE stage managing. It is a pure joy in my heart.

And, as an added bonus confession since I missed last week, I have 15 Words With Friends games going right now.

Words with Friends is a Scrabble-like game for the Android. People weren't playing fast enough for me, so I kept starting games...then realized I had 15 going at the same time...

Why do you love stage managing so much? I need to know, so I can convince more of my students to take it up.

The stage manager is the only one who sees every step of the show from auditions to the final performance. You get to watch how the show is formed, you're there when the actors make a breakthrough or find a new bit and you are there for every audience memer watching the show for the first time.
