1) REVEL!! ...it was a dionysian-type revel... imagine a greek-themed wine-drinking party in which the point is to get lightly to really drunk and to completly release everything except the moment of now- and then after, everyone crashes in a big pile and sleeps. ;) there was grilled meat and fresh fruit and bread, and Jim made mediteranian style couscous- it was awesome. (I almost never drink, and I didn't get very drunk, but I had tons of fun)
2) Pumpkin! I am picky about what I consider 'the best' kind of pumpkin pie, not too spicy, not too bland... MMMMmm.
3) If so, it was along ago enough that I can't remember the last time I did. :P
1. Talked with a friend from online until 2 a.m. 2. Favorite? God, so many-pecan, chocolate cream, berry, I guess the only kind of pie I "don't" like is Lemon Meringue Pie, because I think the Meringue part is fucking gross!
3. Yes, many times. My specialties are the berry or apple type with the lattice crusts. I love doing them lattice crusts.
1--Hell if I remember now--LOL! I think I watched a movie...but then again...no, wait--yeah, I watched a movie then. ;-) 2--Pumpkin! Or Lemon...no, pumpkin. ;-) 3--Mud pies! Or ones you buy and then let thaw out. But actually made one--not that I can recall...maybe as a kid I helped my mom...maybe that. LOL!
Saturday- worked until 1030, then met up with friends at Applebees for 1/2 price appetizers and 2fer drinks. somehow convinced about 11 friends to join me, and we had a blast, but got home so late and was tired.
1. What did you do Saturday night? ...Umm...can't remember. I think I watched tv. I definately remember watching Bleach on Adult Swim, but other than that...*shurgs*
2. What is your favorite kind of pie? Oooo...tough. Chocolate pie is always good. But I really great apple/rhubarb crumble is nice. And so is cherry pie. And don't forget pumpkin pie! So yeah I like pie. But SWEET pie. None of this chicken pot or other such nonsense. Matter of fact I have Marie Calender pie in the freezer I have to bake at soon.
3. Have you ever made pie? Yes indeedy! I think my best success was making My dad's Pumpkin Chiffon Pie in my crappy dorm kitchen my senior year of College for Thanksgiving. but I've made apple pie. and Cherry cobbler. And a few others.
