I was thinking "Hm, so where's Wasilla? Probably in Alaska..." so went to Google Maps and looked it up. Yup, there it is, just north of Anchorage when panned out far enough. Then I paused. Looked at the panning gauge. Remembered following the roads from Baltimore to Boston last week, just because I could. And realized that for the entire trip, I was panned in much, much closer. I've lived on the East Coast all my life; all that room makes me go wide-eyed and wonder when the developers are going to come a-calling.
