1. Pretty much never. Being a grad student, I'm only in class 2-3 times a week, and every class only meets 14 times or so, so unless I'm dying or something, I drag my butt into class when it meets and just take a break from homework when it doesn't. I think I've only missed class maybe twice for being sick, and once for a death in the family.
2. Nope. Jewish. Haven't put up the menorah yet either.
3. Bagpipes. Particularly when played by attractive men in kilts. Less so when played by this guy who busks on my corner, who is not a very good bagpipe player, to say the least.
