Well. The temp agency called to tell me the boring temp job didn't want me there anymore. Hmnmm. Perhaps a direct link between calling in sick Friday and being fired on Monday? The world may never know. Since the recruiter has been very bad about keeping track of where (and sometimes who) I am, I called to verify and it turned out to be true. They found someone willing to come in for $8 an hour which I have to imagine is about half of what they were paying for me. I'm kind of bummed about it, but it does give us the Mark Line of the Week ™ "Well, the thing about temp jobs is that they seldom love you back"

Thanks. I have a board meeting tonight which will probably go until 10 or so, but I can see from there or we could plan something for another night? How is your day going? I tried to call but it just rang and rang. Mondays I guess.

too bad, I am sorry, hey I know working for as temp is no fun I did it once, and, the check they payed me with bounced. You fill in the blanks when you need to pay bills with money you think is in the account, because you got paid but it's not there. Lucky for me the bank was understanding.
