Our first 2 summer staff members arrived last night. One of them came over to hang out for a while last night. The rest come in between 12:30 and 3 in the morning. Conservatory is almost here!

1. The sand storm that caused us to be stuck by the side of the road for 3 hours between Phoenix and Tucson as my cousins and I headed into Tucson after they picked me up from the airport.

1. Well, I didn't exactly see this, but once I was playing a board game at some friends' house, and we heard a huge crash. We went outside and saw firetrucks; lighting had struck a palm tree in their back yard and set it on fire.

1. The May 3, 1999 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma_Tornado_Outbreak) F5 tornado. My mom lives in Moore, OK, literally a few yards from where the worst damage happened. Her house wasn't touched--not so much as a branch from a tree had fallen into the yard, but across the street it looked like a war zone. Houses were flattened or torn off their foundations.

1. What is the most extreme weather phenomenon you have ever witnessed?
Arvada Colorado, Thunderstorm just 10 miles away, a line of clouds stopped just before Arvada (due west of Denver), just amazing to watch the lighting strike all along the wall of clouds from a distance. Amazing sight

2. What was the last game you played?
Civilization III just two hours ago

3. Is it Friday yet?
Its my sunday.... so it does not count for me.
