I am so tired after this weekend!

 

Friday night our brr-lesque version of The Nutcracker opened.  We've been doing the show for 5 years now, in structure, but we made some big fun changes this year.  The house was small, but it included geolinguist and was very well received.  We came right home after the show and stayed up too late watching  TV.

 

lonelydumptruck suggested we have a low-key cast gathering after the show Saturday, so I got up and cleaned ALL THE THINGS! before going to the real estate office for a bit.   Then we went shopping for party good and lonelydumptruck made turkey noodle casserole while I got ready for the show.   The show was great  and we had a huge crowd.

 

I fell in the parking lot going into the show and bruised up my right hip and knee.  I also had big party fail.  One of the hostesses was cold, so I gave her my big fuzzy pink Ugly Doll blankie.  She offered to share, so we snuggled up until she had to go and gave me all the blankie and I curled right up and fell asleep on the couch in the middle of my own party.

 

This morning I did some work for the real estate office while we started watching Lars and the Real Girl, then I went to house manage a World Aids Day event at the Performing Arts Center.

I'm glad you gave the link to the Brr-lesque show so I can picture it. I'm not surprised you had a huge crowd. I would've been there too if it was close to me.
