I was going to try to be a One Holiday At A Time person this year, but I have some free nights and I just can't do it. I tried, but I can't hold it in any longer...

Winter Storm
Nov. 10th, 2011 06:58 pmWhile Western Alaska got pounded, we had slightly overcast skies and maybe, maaaaaybe an inch of snow last night. But there were reports that we should buckle up for anywhere from an inch to a foot starting during rush hour this morning and lasting about Noon.
Sure enough, just as soon as I pulled out of the driveway, little flakes began to drift down. By 9 it was snowing so hard that people looked like they'd been wrestling in snowbanks when they walked in the door. About 10:30 I got my break and ran out to check.
About an inch and it had stopped already.
Right now we have clear skies and a beautiful full moon.
