Alaska Theatre of Youth presents

Bunnicula

a musical adapted by Jon Klein from the book by Deborah and James Howe. Chester, the family cat, and Harold, the family dog, try to learn to live with Bunnicula, the new family vampire rabbit, who sucks the juices out of vegetables. No one is willing to believe Chester when he warns that the rabbit is behind the dreadful-goings on in the vegetable crisper, and he temporarily loses Harold as a friend in the process.

Saturday, October 4 thru Sunday October 12, 2008
Saturdays at 2:00pm, Sundays at 7:00pm
in the Sydney Laurence Theatre at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts

20-30 Actors needed for Gala Midtown event!!

Alaska Travel Industry is holding a 'Success in the City' event on October
8th and we are seeking 20-30 actors to portray 'New York characters' such as
a Broadway star or a fast-talking cabbie and interact with patrons on
shuttle buses as they travel between the Alaska Zoo, the Aviation Heritage
Museum and Alaska Wild Berry Theatre. Participants can get a TAMS class
($40 value) free courtesy of the ATI as well as free food and drink at the
after-party at the Peanut Farm and entry into all the drawings for fabulous
prizes!
Come meet people around the state who will need actors for their events this
season and have some fun at the same time!

I saw snowflakes on my way home for lunch.

One of the guys came in from his 3pm smoke break saying he saw sleet, hail and snow today.
