Play Along at Home
Feb. 16th, 2005 12:08 amA few days ago, the juggernaut that is
shadesong posted a writing prompt in her journal "Once, when no one was looking..."
I wrote a few sentences after that I am inordinately proud of and might send off to the local paper's short story contest just for shits and giggles.
But more importantly, it got me thinking.
I want to see what the rest of you can do with it.
I am going to post
shadesong's prompt -
Once, when no one was looking....
and my follow up -
he tipped a warm, flat party beer into a co-worker's shoe.
Now it is up to you. Write the next sentence and post it in your journal. Invite your friends to post the 4th sentence and so on.
Let's see how many variations we can get and how far it will go
(and yes,
melissakmock, I want you to play along too)
