Aug. 17th, 2004 09:41 amThere is a little black poodle-like dog in our neighborhood. His family pretty much gives him free roam of the streets whenever he feels like it, knowing he will come home and bark at the door when he wants in again.
A few nights ago this little black dog decided he really needed to start something with somebody. Apparently anybody would do. He started barking furiously at a cat who promptly sat down about a foot away from him and would not budge. Then he turned on a much larger do who happened to be on a walk with her owner about half a block away. When the owner would not allow the Dane to get into anything, the poor little black poodle-like dog turned on his last available target. He began jumping and furiously barking at an airplane passing overhead.
