Cable theft, due to the high price of copper, is all too common at the moment. Recently we had three incidents in one week on the line here. Silly thing is that half of the time the thieves try to steal the overhead power cables which are a) running at a lethal 25000 volts, and b) made of aluminium which is worth almost nothing.
