So.

I am selecting movies for Wildberry.

We want to do a big, crazy movie event next month - have food there, maybe move the bar into the theatre, give away prizes, all kind of things.

I have also been told to start preparing for this summer. I've thought about doing "Late Night" (10pm probably, because Anchorage can be lame) horror movies (mostly as an excuse to show Army of Darkness) but another suggestion was made.

Which brings us to....[Poll #1144728]

Oh. I do 3 questions don't I? Let's see....

What is your favorite guilty pleasure movie?

*phew*

My favorite guilty pleasure movie...

Shit man, I just don't know.

[identity profile] stauquin.livejournal.com 2008-02-26 06:14 pm (UTC)(link)
My other, would be a varying degree of other "cult classic" movies. I'd love to do an Office Space, Blazing Saddles, Princess Bride night or something like that.

Guilty Pleasure movie? Wow, this one I'll have to think about. Probably something like Starship Troopers :P

I thought of doing Cult Movies too, but that's a little more subjective and I'm not sure about inflicting my taste on the public yet.

Guilty pleasure? Bloodsucking Pharoes from Pittsburgh I guess. Have you thought about doing a Re-Animator triple feature?

I hadn't. Hmmm.....

Mix and match is better. Horror-horror (rather than horror-funny) is just too common these days. No fun there, really.

Mel Brooks, yeah! But I'd do:

High Anxiety.
Silent Movie.
The Producers (1968).

Or, I do something completely different.

Young Frankenstein.
Arsenic and Old Lace.
Murder by Death.

If you really want to go different... go TV series and grab "Father Ted". Only three seasons before the star died suddenly but FUUUNNNNNYYY black comedy. Pure enjoyment.

How about a Bring-It-On-athon?

Guilty Pleasure:

SHOWGIRLS!! (I know, it has icky boobies, but its hella funny)

You don't know me, but I just thought the icky boobies comment was hilarious! I love watching the "clean" version too because of how they digitally spray-painted clothes and bras on them.
