Whafu......?

At the theatre until after midnight again, but at least it was a run with stops and starts to reset levels etc. Then the phone rang at 5:43 am and I wasn't able to get to it in time. I spent the next couple hours lying awake with a fist-sized stone in my stomach running possible scenarios through my head.

"First night Jerry and Sandy trusted me with the key to Cyrano's, I forgot to lock the door and they got robbed!"

"Tom's stuck in a snowbank somewhere. Or saw a really great article on George Lucas"

"Something happened to dad"

"Goddammit, I know I locked that door, but I'm not SURE I locked the door..."
