holy cats, I leave the country for a week and planes start dropping out of the sky. Apparently there was a very large meteorite that exploded over Seattle the other night; lit up the whole region at 2:30 in the morning and caused a sonic boom. But it didn't land on anyone's house, AFAIK.
I of course have missed the story entirely, was this a big plane or what?
