It's Friday!

I can't wait until tomorrow...the day off!

1. When people ask what you do for a living, how do you describe your job?

2. How often do you read the paper?

3. Do you like cheese?

3. I heard someone say yesterday 'Life without cheese isn't worth living." I am inclined to agree.

P.S. - I know you guys have family in town, but the invite to big barbecue bash is warmly extended. Mark had my # at some point, but 727-3631 on the off-chance you all could make it. I heart you guys!

1. Still working on a good, concise answer. Since no one really pays any attention after a few minutes of the laundry list, i usually stick with "I orchestrate theatrical productions: like a conductor if the strings were lights, sound, scenery, costumes, and props; the woodwinds were director, designers, and administration; and the percussion were actors." Then twenty to thirty more minutes of conversation to clarify.

2. Always the sunday, and daily whenever i'm on vacation.

3. No, it makes me sick.

1) I'm a Rigger. I fly people. They usually don't understand. So I say, "You know the people that fly on silks in Cirque? I fly people like that." They usually still don't get it. SO then I tell them that I'm responsible for anything that moves and anything that hangs above peoples' heads in a theater. They usually still don't get it. So I tell them I'm a theatre tech and if they still don't get it I beat them senseless.

2) Not often; I don't have access to newspapers.

3) I love cheese.

1. I'm in IT with a side of photography.
2. I used to read the online edition daily, but haven't recently due to lack of time. I don't read the paperversion or subscribe to it due to ADN managing to piss me off 1 too many times.
3. Yep!

1. Um, security. I can't tell you anymore, otherwise I'd have to kill you.

2. Once a month, but only the classifieds and the comics.

3. Yep, I try a new cheese every week. I'm in danger of becoming a connoisseur.

And a private word to Jan and Mark...Oooowwwwoooo!
