Why Does It Have To Be Monday

1. briefly describe your weekend (bonus points for hiku format)?

2. What is your favorite sign of Spring?

3. Paper or plastic?

Hamlet, with that cast, would be awesome. Were you working it or watching it?

OMG, I would have KILLED to get a chance to work with those two - and the rest of thecast are no slouches either, believe me!

No - this is a PBS Greatest Performance - and the standout performances in this production just don't stop - Pelonius had me giggling damn near every time he opened his mouth, Ophelia's going mad is fracking amazing and Queen Gertrude takes you on an amazing journey that you never wanted to live through but are all the richer for having done so. David as Hamlet is Brilliant! Patrick as Claudius (and Hamlet's father's ghost) is so spot on as to draw tears.

It was my teen's first hamlet and with a couple of exceptions where the language was just to obscure for her, she really understood it.

3 solid hours. Man, it's a grand piece of work and QUITE worth purchasing from PBS!

I shall put it on my list and look for it, thanks!

1)

Weekend was for work
Monday is also for work
work work work work work

2) Pretty flowers of ALL COLORS (will post pics if/when I remember to)

3) Depends. (No, wait; I mean that the answer is situational, not that I want Depends undergarments rather than paper or plastic. Damn those marketers for corrupting a perfectly cromulent, and heretofore innocent, English word.)

1. Baby is sleeping
Very nice to hold her close
Adore my new niece

Lack of sleep is bleh
Must rest at some point tonight
But she is cute now.

Mix of emotions
surround me always today
Long for my own child

It is not to be
Perhaps it is for the best
Now I will write books.

2. I love the warmer temperatures and sunlight lasting longer in the day time. :D

3. Depends on the use. For carrying groceries plastic, for writing, paper.

So how many bonus points do I get for that haiku? :D
