Questions?

1. What is your favorite beverage?

2. Who are some of your favorite novelists?

3. Mark had another terrible realization this weekend - it's quite possible that Tom Waits and Athol Fugard (two of my very favorite artists) have both jumped the shark. Who is an artist, of any medium, that you love but think might have already seen their best days?

1) Diet Dr Pepper

2) Stephen King; Terry Pratchett; Sue Grafton; J.A. Jance

3) REO Speedwagon (they're still touring, which is just wrong).

1. I don't have one favorite; it's too difficult to choose. I love almost all flavors of Mountain Dew, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and lemonade.

2. Poppy Z. Brite, Neil Gaiman, Caitlin R. Kiernan, Jemiah Jefferson.

3. The Cure.

1. Assam tea, latte, Burgerville's strawberry lemonade, water.

2. Dorothy L. Sayers, Douglas Adams, Diana Wynne Jones, Arthur Conan Doyle, John le Carre. (A wee bit of a leaning toward genre in your respondents so far, eh?)

3. Aaron Sorkin is almost too easy, but it's true.

1. Plain old water.

2. Patricia Cornwell, although she is beginning to fall under question number 3.

3. Depeche Mode has been my favorite band for 24 years, but I think it's time they finally hang it up. They peaked in 1987, and it's been all downhill since.

2. Jane Austen, Beverly Cleary, Jhumpha Lahiri
3. Paul McCartney. I'll always love him, though.

1. Beverage: iced tea with 2 packets of Sweet & Low..NO lemon.
2. Tolkien & King.....I don't read very much.
3. Def Leppard - I stopped buying their CDs after I purchased the X album. I think they did so well with Pyromania & Hysteria that it was next to impossible to keep up with them....I did however goet to see them in concert....Live, In the Round In Your Face tour...it was awesome.

1. It would have to be tea of any type since I drink it daily.

2. It's still & will always be Harlan Ellison.

3. Anne Rice (who jumped a while ago, I'm just catching up)
