Ewwwwww
Mark's party last night was pretty amazing. There were almost too many people, but a good time was had by most. Mark keeps feeling like something or someone was missing, so it wasn't great, just good.
I was trying to keep an eye on Persephone since his bowl in on the kitchen counter. He seemed pretty stirred up with all the noise and the people, but not freaked out. He's a weird one, the dirtier the water gets, the more he blows bubbles and the more active he seems to be. It seemed like he also did pretty well last night but when I got up this morning (okay, this afternoon) there was this stringy white uck in the bowl. I have two theories. Either someone decided Persephone needed some cake too or somebody really REALLY loves betta fish.
Mark made dinner tonight. I called him from rehearsal to tell him I was on my way home and all he would tell me was that it was a surprise. I knew there would be steak, because we were both talking about craving it right before rehearsal, and he made it on the new electric griddle Dad and Ila bought him for his birthday, but the rest was a huge surprise. Steak, asparagus and lobster. I love Mark so much it hurts.
After dinner we finally put in the movie Stacy. Oh my God. It was.....boy. It was horrible, but I didn't hate it. It was truly craptacular in the purest sense of the term. I'll give away the ending....the zombie girls just want to be loved, dammit. Which led me to thrusting out both arms and moaning "huuuuuuuuuuugs! I need a huuuuuuuuuuuuug" until Mark smacked me.
I'm still cracking myself up.
